AT&T and T-Mobile has announced the phasing out of it's 3G network
AT&T and T-Mobile are phasing out it's 3G network. AT&T by February 2022, T-Mobile by end of 2020.
After the phase-out Temperature Guard products with 3G cellular modems purchased before April 2019 will no longer be able to send or receive alarm text messages.

How can I find out if my Temperature Guard has a 3G modem installed
Turn the unit off, remove the cover and look at the installed cellular modem.

Look for the white label

If the Model is MTSMC-H5 (see image below), it is a 3G modem
